This is one of Kenshin's main attacks and
is basically the ultimate aerial attack with a sword. The
original version of this attack ends in the opponent
being cut in half, but Kenshin's version with the
reverse-blade sword hits a point on the opponent's shoulder that knocks them out for a day or so.

The ultimate attack of the Hiten
Mitsurugi Ryu, this attack is a Battoujutsu powered by
the users will to live. This attack surpasses the
normal god-like speed of a Battoujutsu. This
attack is truly the ultimate attack, even if the
first hit of the blow is dodged, the speed of
which it was excuted strips away the movement of
the opponent and draws them in twords the user who
by then has spun around a second time. The
force of the second part of the attack is greatly
increased by the gathered momentum in the spinning
around and by the extra impact from the opponent
being drawn into it. This is truly the
ultimate attack.

This attack is Hajime Saito's variation
of the Hirazuki, the Gatotsu is supposedly the ultimate
attack but was beaten by Kenshin after he had seen it
four times. This attack if used correctly is lethal to
any opponent. |

Hirazuki

Parallel stab
|
|
This attack is the attack that the
Gatotsu was based on. The Hirazuki, though not as
powerful as a Gatotsu is still very lethal and hard to
avoid. This attack was developed by Toshizo Hijikata,
the assistant master of the Shinsengumi.

This attack is used to paralyze an
enemies entire body, unless they have an equal or
greater level of skill with a sword, they will not be
able to defeat this technique. An advancement on this
attack is when it is used to paralyze the opponent's
lungs, making the opponent suffocate in about 5 minutes.

This
attack is yet another variation of the
Shin-no-ippou, this is actually more of an upgrade
than an attack but it fits in here best. The
Hyouki spell is using the Shin-no-ippou on
yourself in order to maximize your full potential.
This is the final improvement on the
Shin-no-ippou.

opponent, quickly and efficient . If the opponent
somehow dodges the first blow, you're left defenseless for a while. Kenshin's Battousai title was given to him
for his mastery of this technique.
